January 2010 ~ RSPCA
WOur dream has come true and we’ve been commissioned by the RSPCA, we will reveal more when the campaign has gone live but it’s very newsworthy and we’re very excited and priviledged to be a part of it. Hurrah.

January 2010 ~ New Year Revolution
We’re going after some great stuff this year! We’re also going to refit & refurb the studio... Oh wow it’s snowing! Check out our Flickr site...

Corporate Christmas Cards
Right at the eleventh hour (or actually at half past....) we decided to pay hommage to a breaking news story about a Tesco Christmas card that had been withdrawn. Within just 24hrs we’d designed our own version starring an orangey ferret.

NB. If your or your company would love some bespoke corporate Christmas cards (no robbins/snowmen)
give us a tinkle!

October 09 ~ Latest Mews
We are very proud to announce that The Art Of Animals are the official cat photographers for The Supreme Cat Show (www.supremecatshow.org)
we’ll be photographing the BIS after the show and this image will be the front cover for next year’s catalogue ~ the GCCF’s centenary year.

This is an incredible event where the finest cats you will ever see will be on show, a truly unique opportunity. The Supreme takes place at the NEC 21st November (Halls 17 and 18).

The Art Of Animals will be exhibiting at the show (Hall 17, Area G) but as professional cat photographers, we can’t miss the opportunity to see so many wonderful breeds so we’ll be in and around photographing cats as much as we can.

If you can’t wait to view some top cats, why not view our cat photography from this year’s Blue-Pointed Siamese Championship show. For more info about these stunning cats, surf: www.bpscc.org.uk

September 09 ~ Our New Studio Kit
Whilst on a visit, a tabby cat came up for a cuddle and it was skin & bones and had a double eye infection. When we fed it, it scoffed like it hadn’t eaten for weeks. What could we do but bring it home? ‘Bailey’ is now making fine progress & his eyes are clearer every day (giving a cat eyedrops is no mean feat.) He’s very partial to Felix and Whiskas pouches (all flavours) and a bit of chicken or tuna if it’s available. MK Cats protection is full, so as Bailey resides in the studio and sleeps in a variety of places (see pics) we’ll sort out the vets bills & try to get him to put some weight on. If his weight remains static he’s possibly got a thyroid problem but this is treatable with tables. We should know in a week. He’s over 13 and has lost some gnashers but he’s a purr monster. All he needs is a home with a self-contained garden & a quiet life, if you can help please give us a call.

August 09 ~ Horses for courses...
The Art Of Animals were longlisted in The Sunday Times/Terry O’Neill Awards for our fine art horse photography (shires), there were 700 international entries & these were whittled down to 70, we made it through but when they cut this by half to 35 we were sadly bumped..
